What can we expect from Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps?

Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to hit the theaters within a matter of months. So, the excitement is bound to be through the roof for the devoted fans. They must have been eager to find out any details about the new project and how it will differ from the previous Fantastic Four iterations.

Eventually, Disney shared a plot description for this film. It offers a few insights into the upcoming film, including the actors in other key roles. Here's what it says:

"Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal."

It reveals that Julia Garner and Ralph Ineson will also be joining the cast in key roles. Ineson will be Galactus, while Garner will be the new Shalla-Bal, aka Silver Surfer. Disney's press release also revealed that Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll), Paul Walter Hauser (Richard Jewell), John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich), and Sarah Niles (Ted Lasso) will be a part of the cast.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps: What can we expect from the trailer?

In our recent post about the 2025 Super Bowl, we speculated that The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer will likely be shown during the big game. However, that may or may not be the case.
