Lar Park Lincoln, the actress known for her roles in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood and CBS’s soap opera, Knots Landing, passed away on April 22, 2025. She was 63.
Her death was confirmed by Actors Audition Studios, the Dallas-based company she founded. They shared a statement on social media on April 25, 2025, which read:
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lar Park Lincoln, celebrated actress, founder of Actors Audition Studios, and America’s beloved Audition Coach, on April 22, 2025. Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors.”
According to a report in Parade, she previously battled breast cancer, but the cause of her death was not revealed. She is survived by her daughter Piper, son Trevor, sister Karen, brother Michael, four grandchildren, and her poodle Charlie.
She was diagnosed with a unique type of breast cancer in 2008, according to her blog post. It is called Invasive lobular carcinoma.
“I have a rare form called Lobular- a version that is about 1 in 10 and doesn't show up on mammograms! Go figure! At least they have named it after me ,lobuLAR-lol”
She wrote in her post.

“Anyway I had all the usual events go into place, 10 interesting hospital visits so far,ultrasound,core biopsies,MRI,pet scan,surgery for nodes (CLEAR-yeah)and a port inserted for icky stuff. I was scheduled for a double mastectomy last Monday but got strep and bronchitis so we decided to try and shrink the tumors first.”
In her blog, she shared how she was diagnosed with breast cancer in early October of 2008. She mentioned how they first went for chemotherapy to shrink her “large tumors” and then surgery.
In a 2020 interview with Icon Vs. Icon, she revealed the main challenges during her battle with breast cancer, which included a prolonged and difficult treatment process. This involved 17 surgeries over five years and required extensive physical recovery.
Lincoln’s friend, Mary Ann Halpin, shared a photo on her Instagram with a tribute for her, where she mentioned the photography that she took during the time Lincoln was undergoing treatment for cancer.
In a post shared on April 25, 2025, she wrote:
“My amazing fearless friend Lar Park Lincoln passed the other day. This is a photo I shot of her for my book Fearless Women, Fearless Wisdom. She was going through treatment for breast cancer at the time. She was such a warrior woman. I love you and will miss you, my friend!”
