Since its inception, the Daily Wire expanded through news, opinion, and entertainment content. It became more popular with its podcasts, video programming, and documentaries, as reported by Distractify. Here is everything to know about Daily Wire.
How did The Daily Wire start?
On an episode of The Sunday Special, aired in 2020, Jeremy Boreing and Ben Shapiro discussed how they first met, and how they started The Daily Wire.
In the video, Boreing shares how he first met Shapiro at the Freedom Centre and how they drafted their first business plan on a Cocktail napkin. Boreing added how he told his business plan to Caleb Robinson who then pitched the idea to his business partner who, “took a risk” on them and committed to paying them seven and a half million dollars to start The Daily Wire.
“When Ben, Caleb, and I founded The Daily Wire in 2015, we set out to build an institution. I’m enormously proud of our team, of our many battles, and of the successes we’ve achieved together over the last decade. And we’re just getting started,” Boreing said, as reported by Axios.
“To get us to the heights we know we can achieve, we have brought in a world-class executive team that I am confident will thrive in taking us to the next level under Caleb’s ongoing leadership while I turn my full attention to creative and entertainment ventures for the company.” He added, as Caleb Robinson becomes the full-time CEO.
Before co-founding The Daily Wire, Jeremy Boreing was a director, screenwriter, and producer. The shift comes amidst the time when he has invested himself in the creation of a high fantasy series titled The Pendragon Cycle.
According to The Daily Wire, since 2021 the platform has released six films including Lady Ballers which he directed, co-wrote, and starred in.

“Jeremy is a tremendous talent and we’re thrilled to get even more of his creative focus in the business as we head into this next phase of expansion. We can’t wait to see what he does next.” Ben Shapiro said, as indicated by the outlet.
“Jeremy‘s creative contributions over the last decade have helped shape the face of podcasting and digital media. With Pendragon on the horizon, the best is yet to come.” Added Robinson.
The Daily Wire operates under Bentkey Ventures, LLC, formerly Forward Publishing, LLC. According to Distractify, both Shapiro and Boreing have played a key role in the transformation of The Daily Wire over the years.
