Born May 23, 1986, Ryan Kyle Coogler is an American filmmaker who is best known for co-writing and directing Creed and Black Panther. Not only that, he has been honored with four NAACP Image Awards and four Black Reel Awards over the course of his career and has also been nominated for two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe and a Grammy.
