The Oscars 2025 showed some of the most unforgettable performances, covering acts from famous artists like Lisa from BLACKPINK to Ariana Grande. The Born Again trio, Doja Cat, Lisa, and Raye were seen paying their tribute to the James Bond movie series. However, before they started their performances, Margaret Qualley took the stage with her opening act.

The American actress, famous for her roles in Maid, Poor Things, and The Substance, was also nominated for the Golden Globe Awards and Critics' Choice Awards in the Best Supporting Actress category for The Substance.

Margaret Qualley danced to the theme song of the James Bond movie, wearing a satin, floor-length dress. The red halterneck dress had a front slit and a V-shaped neck. She was accompanied by other male dancers in tuxedos during the performance.

The tribute given to the James Bond movie series was to honor Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. Broccoli and Wilson are previous producers of the series who recently decided to step down from their roles in February 2025.

However, they will still own the James Bond franchise along with Amazon MGM Studios.

Michael G. Wilson also gave a statement to Amazon, saying:

"With my 007 career spanning nearly 60 incredible years, I am stepping back from producing the James Bond films to focus on art and charitable projects. Therefore, Barbara and I agree, it is time for our trusted partner, Amazon MGM Studios, to lead James Bond into the future"

Along with Margaret Qualley's dance, Lisa sang the James Bond song, Live and Let Die; Doja Cat sang Diamonds Are Forever, originally sung by Shirley Bassey; and Raye sang the Oscar-winning song, Skyfall, originally written and sung by Adele.

After Margaret Qualley’s performance, fans are speculating she might star in the new James Bond movies. However, there's no official confirmation yet.
