In a heated confrontation between Ethan and Sean, Nyah gets a hold of the last sample of the life-threatening Chimera virus and ejects it in her bloodstream as a safety measure to keep herself alive amongst Sean and his men, giving Ethan time to stop the issue for good. During the final moments of the movie, Ethan successfully manages to stop Sean by killing him. He retrieves the cure, Bellerophon, and injects it into Nyah to save her and destroy the last living sample of Chimera for good.
