The movie starts with a divine promise. Archangel Gabriel visits Mary's desperate parents, who long for a child. He informs them that they will have a daughter destined for great things.

However, she is to be dedicated to God's service at the temple in Bethlehem. This puts the main character on a journey of faith, preparing her for her extraordinary role in the salvation of humanity.

The ending seems powerful and symbolic for the characters. After the birth of Jesus, she is in great danger. Herod's soldiers were searching for the prophesied Messiah, and she and her family were threatened.

With the help of Joseph, she escaped and eventually returned to Bethlehem. Anna the Prophetess recognized her at the city gates and ensured her safe entry. The scene at the Second Temple depicts how the main character presents Jesus to Baba ben Buta.

This is when the divine journey of Jesus commences. It also indicates that the main character has fulfilled her purpose. She has faith and perseverance in the face of difficulties.

Whereas the story of King Herod ends with despair, because he fears the Messiah and becomes paranoid; this makes him lose everything. Gabriel tells him that his reign is over, and Herod fights back but proves powerless.

His soldiers and counselors desert him. Due to this, he is left — all alone in the throne room. And while Mary rises to be a figure of hope, Herod falls.

The film ends with the main character’s reflection. She reflects on all the sacrifices she had to make for love and faith. It also has an end where Jesus is being predicted for his future and shows resilience in God's plan. The ending makes people inspired and thoughtful about belief's transformational power.
