Daddy Yankee has sued his estranged wife, Mireddys González, for allegedly withdrawing $100 million from two corporate bank accounts without his “authorization”, according to the reports.
Yankee who reportedly has a net worth of $100 million, filed the legal proceedings on December 12, 2024, in San Juan. In the court documents obtained by Billboard, he alleged that his ex-wife took $80 million from his El Cartel Records account and $20 million from his Los Cangris account.
Another report in People magazine stated that proceedings were filed against Mireddys González, her sister Ayeicha González Castellanos, and El Cartel Records. González allegedly served as the CEO and her sister served as secretary/treasurer at the record label founded by the reggaeton superstar in 1997.
Despite being the owner of the company, Daddy Yankee claimed in the filing that “he lacks access, interference and information, to all that he generated and continues to generate and to which he is entitled.”
