50 Cent and Young Buck have been feuding on and off for over a decade. Buck signed on to Cent's label in 2014 and a few years later was forced to file bankruptcy in 2020, cementing the two's acrimonious relationship, with the former claiming that Buck had a $250,000 debt to Cent.

Recently, Young Buck sold off his music rights and assets to raise $1 million and pay off his former boss. However, that did not solve the beef. Young Buck recently appeared on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast and stated during that appearance that while 50 Cent helped him initially to pay his taxes, he did take the money back.

Cent was not happy with this and took to Instagram to respond to Buck, stating:

"Some how he still managed to be ungrateful, I helped him with his taxes. We didn’t have a problem till he didn’t know how to accept he’s gay. Got caught with a Tranny and got mad at me. Smh boy I didn’t know you mess with boy’s WTF should’ve signed to Bad Boy."

It is to be noted that 50 Cent's comments, particularly the word Tranny, is transphobic and is widely considered to be a slur. This is not the first time Cent has used such offensive comments while speaking about Young Buck. The singer made similar comments back in March 2024.

Young Buck filed to dismiss the $250,000 claim by 50 Cent

Young Buck filed new proceedings to dismiss the $250,000 debt claim against him by 50 Cent, which has reportedly been already paid, with the filing stating:

"The contract in question is unenforceable under New York law. For a contract to be enforceable under New York law, there must be a clear meeting of the minds on all material terms, and any conditions precedent must be satisfied."

Young Buck previously blamed 50 Cent for his bankruptcy, stating in an appearance on the It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast in 2022:

"Once he stopped me from being able to make money, I filed another bankruptcy. They stopped him from being able to cease-and-desist in regards to me being able to, you know."

The singer continued:

“I included what he claimed that I owed him in the bankruptcy to be able to say, ‘Well hey, if you’re owed this and present whatever receipts or whatever… You will be paid type of situation.’ But that was the only way I was able to go forward with working, so."

He later added that his main issue with 50 Cent was that Cent had tried to stop all his music projects, pointing out that Cent had issued cease and desist letters to try and prevent Buck from making music and pull all his works down from streaming services and so on.

Young Buck and Cent's relationship first started showing major strain back in 2019, when Buck received the aforementioned cease and desist letters that tried to prevent Buck from releasing new music. This subsequently led to Buck filing for bankruptcy and 50 Cent's claim of the $250,000 and the ongoing feud.

However, Young Buck has also stated in the past that he is open to a reunion with G-Unit and Cent, despite the acrimonious relationship he has had with Cent and his label.
