Unstoppable cast and character guide: Who plays whom in Ben Affleck's latest sports drama film?

Unstoppable is a true story of support and resilience that tells us our circumstances don't define a person, no matter how bad they are. The film opened at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024, and then was released US-wide on December 6, 2024.

Ben Affleck has produced the movie alongside Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Anthony Robles, David Crockett, Andy Fraser, and Gary Lewis, and sees William Goldberg, who has edited films like Argo (2012), Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023), The Imitation Game (2014), and more, in his directorial debut.

Jennifer Lopez plays Anthony Robles' mother, Judy Robles, in Unstoppable. Like it was for her in reality, we see Judy giving her unwavering support to her son. Anthony Robles says about her mom that she always told him while he was a kid that God made him this way for a reason.

Don Cheadle does fantastic work in Unstoppable as coach Shawn Charles. One of the interesting facts about this character is that he is a no-nonsense, straight-shooter type of person. If you aren't good enough, you aren't good enough. Coach Charles don't beat around the bush.

His portrayal of James "Rhodey" Rhodes, aka War Machine, is one of his many roles loved by the fans today. As for his awards cabinet, he has won Golden Globe, Grammy, Screen Actors Guild, and Tony awards.
