16) Jim Moriarty from Sherlock
It was a fantastic thrill to see that Jim Moriarty, played by Andrew Scott in Sherlock, embodied all things unpredictable, brilliant, and darkly fascinating. Added to Scott's portrayal was a playful and menacing aspect, which made Moriarty quite an elating foe of Sherlock Holmes. His brilliance and craziness fuel an incredible level of villainy, being intensely fascinated with Sherlock while having alarming control of his life. This fusion makes one of television's greatest villains, whose charms and complexities almost precisely rival those of the heroes.
