Ford v. Ferrari is an adrenaline-pumping account of how Ford sought to outperform Ferrari at the 1966 Le Mans race. The movie has Matt Damon playing the vision of Carroll Shelby, and Christian Bale delivering one of his best performances as the fearless driver Ken Miles. Directed by James Mangold, the film features great race sequences and an even greater narrative on friendship and perseverance. Bale brings in emotional content in portraying Miles, who, by passion, drove Ferrari forward despite corporate interference.
