The new Thunderbolts* trailer was less about the Thunderbolts and more about the former Red Room assassin and a hilariously savage Yelena Belova, the sister of Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), whom Florence Pugh (Midsommar) portrays. She took her first steps in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Black Widow (2021), where we first got to see a full-fledged view of the infamous Red Room that breeds Widows.
I wanted to see what the training looks like other than the interior where General Dreykov (Ray Winstone) dwells with his dangerous assassins. Though I got to see (alongside Rachel Weisz) a glimpse of training, it was not really at a satisfactory level.
Natasha and Yelena were taken in by Dreykov for the Black Widow program after Red Guardian, alongside Weisz's Melina Vostokoff, executed a mission in 1995. They were posing as a family back then, with both the girls as a part of the family they were posing as (all of them posers, Yelena). That's all; we never get to see how they were made into these merciless assassins.
Thunderbolts* trailer has already showed us a glimpse of Yelena's daunting journey
Merciless kills are obviously at the core of the Black Widow program, and it doesn't see any age. At around the 1:10 minute mark in the Thunderbolts* trailer, we see two small girls in a forest; snow's falling, and it's chilling, literally and figuratively.
At first I thought they were Yelena and Natasha, but soon what followed proved me wrong. Though one of them was Yelena only, the one in the white. But the other one is then killed by a man who appears to be some kind of mentor, or maybe he's General Dreykov showing the girl how to kill.
That's a part of Yelena's training, and given she is so disturbed by the life that has happened to her before, we are likely to see some glimpses of her Red Room training, which of course would be daunting. The thing I was thinking here is if we see that glimpse, how the director will have it portrayed in Thunderbolts*.
For what I feel, the audience needs to feel that pain in Thunderbolts*, just like that scene from John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) where Unity Phelan is training at the Ruska Roma under the watchful eye of The Director (Anjelica Huston). But then I don't want to see that part where, as Yelena explained to Red Guardian while in that helo in Black Widow, how she almost bled to death. Gross.
I want to see if Yelena was made to see Snow White

Disney is yet to confirm if Yelena Belova and Timothée Chalamet are in its upcoming live-action adaptation of Tangled (2010), though we don't know when that'll happen after our new Snow White was disavowed by the fans.
Speaking of Snow White, if Thunderbolts* is planning to explore Yelena's training for a bit, I want to see if she was made to see Snow White (not this one; this one would certainly have made her insane). The Disney film is a joy to watch, except for when it's being shown in the Widow manufacturing Red Room.
If you remember, Agent Carter's fifth episode in its first season was about the Red Room. There were subliminal messages with respect to Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. I know that's cruel to think, but I do want to see how a beloved Disney movie was used to turn her into the assassin as we know her (if she saw it).
