The wheels are turning for Marvel's First Family as the official trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps has just dropped online. It seems more dramatically intense than the official teaser, which relies on the light-hearted moments between these characters. Released on 4 February 2025, it felt like a deliberate attempt to establish these four characters as a family unit. That's why the focus was mainly on the heroes bonding together in a domestic environment.

There was a tinge of sadness that these characters felt as they grappled with what they had lost or what they could lose in the near future. However, it was meant to give an idea of its retro-futuristic setting and fresh blue-dominant color palette. In between, it gave an understanding of its overall scale and scope. However, things are starting to heat up in the official trailer.

The latest peek into The Fantastic Four: First Steps appears far more tragic than the previous one. This time, the family is contending with a threat bigger than what they might have imagined. The teaser offered a peek into the planet-eating Galactus, whereas the trailer shows Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) as a villain, threatening the Fantastic Four. As an existential threat looms for their planet, the four heroes try to do everything in their power to defeat the villain.

Previously, the fans saw Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) fly into space and turn into fire as the Human Torch, along with Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) using her powers as the Invisible Woman. It also showed how Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) would look, speak, and move around as The Thing. However, it didn't really show Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) using his powers as Mister Fantastic. The official trailer finally shows Mr. Fantastic flexing his flexible muscles, and the fans cannot be happier about it.
