Olatunde Osunsanmi directed this project from a screenplay by Craig Sweeny based on Gene Roddenberry's timeless story. It marks Osunsanmi's third project in the Star Trek universe after working on Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Short Treks.
Yeoh's Georgiou will be central to the film. Yeoh, who offers her solid acting chops for this project, is known for her work in Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon(2000). Besides her, the film will star Omari Hardwick (Kick-A**), Sam Richardson (Veep), and Kacey Rohl (Hannibal)in prominent roles.

It shows Michelle Yeoh in her role as the edgy Philippa Georgiou. She will return to the universe as she is set on a dark mission from her space station. In this chapter, she owns a nightclub outside the Federation space called the Baraam.
She meets a customer, who makes her a proposition to return to get back in the action related to the Starfleet. The customer hides some details about himself and so does she. After joining Section 31 to protect the United Federation of Planets, she must confront the demons from her past.
