Snow White tells the well-known story of a little princess. She manages to get away from the Evil Queen. She is her evil stepmother. Instead of concentrating only on romance, the 2025 adaptation takes artistic license and highlights Snow White's independence and leadership.

In contrast to the original animated version, the film adds additional characters. It elaborates on the kingdom's political processes. Gal Gadot plays the Evil Queen in the film. With this, Rachel Zegler plays Snow White.

It updated its ideas to the current viewers. With this, Disney aimed to give the classic story a new angle. Based on exit polls, Snow White's CinemaScore after its theatrical release was a B+. This reflected the attitude of the crowd.

The B+ rating indicates that while many viewers liked the film, it was not very good. It is unlike an A grade. Reactions on social media were divided. Some criticized the narrative choices and pacing and others applauded the performances and images.

According to the rating, Snow White is ranked lower than other Disney live-action remakes. This is alongside movies like Alice Through the Looking Glass (29%) and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (40%).

With such a ranking, word-of-mouth reviews will have a significant impact on Snow White's box office results. Disney may reconsider its strategy for reproducing animation classics. This would be in light of the film's mediocre reception. This also includes the growing criticism the studio is receiving for its live-action versions.
