Michael B. Jordan is returning to the big screen for a spine-chilling treat with Ryan Coogler as the duo team up for a vampire thriller that is sure to push the boundaries of the genre. Titled Sinners, the film will revolve around Jordan's character as he plays twin brothers Elijah and Elias Smoke.

Earlier stills from the film already looked promising enough, and a new look at Jordan's role in the film only raises the anticipation further.

Sinners will be Jordan's fifth collaboration with Coogler, who he has worked with before on Creed and Creed II, Fruitvale Station, and two Black Panther films. Written by Coogler, the film is a period horror film with vampirical elements and is all set to boo the audience with all the right elements of the genre.

As per IMDb, the synopsis of the film reads,

"Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back."

Set in the 1930s Jim Crow-era South, the film follows the twin brothers as they face an evil entity in their hometown and attempt to fight it. The trailer of the film, which now has over 14 million views showed Jordan in a dual role as he battles vampires and talks about demons.

Jordan can be heard narrating in the trailer, in a chilling voice,

“I’ve been all over this world. I’ve seen men die in ways I ain’t even know was possible. Of all the things that I’ve seen, I ain’t ever seen no demons, no ghosts, no magic … till now.”

The cast and crew for the film have not revealed much about the project, but they do seem pretty confident that it will manage to win the audience's hearts. Omar Benson Miller previously told Deadline,

I think Sinners is going to be a whopper. In this world of ‘content’, there are still people who make films. It’s really exciting. And it’s not safe. Ryan is making something creative. And it’s multi-genre. He’s as good as anybody behind a camera today. I stand by that.
