Scissor Sisters have announced their Reunion Tour. The tour will be held from May 16, 2025, to May 28, 2025, in venues across England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Ireland, respectively. The tour will feature all original members except Ana Matronic.
Presale starts on November 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Registration for said presale is currently ongoing. The link to the registration can be found on the bio of the band's socials. Registration requires an email address and full name. A general on-sale will follow on November 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
The new tour was announced by the band through an Instagram post on October 31, 2024, stating:
"Exciting news, for the first time in over a decade, we will come together again, live next May across the UK and Ireland. And for the first time ever, our debut album Scissor Sisters will be performed in full in celebration of its 20th anniversary - alongside all the other Scissor hits from along the way."

Alison Goldfrapp will support the band on the tour. As mentioned above, the upcoming reunion tour will not feature Ana Matronic. Matronic explained her absence from her world tour in a general statement on Instagram on October 31, 2024:
"People familiar with my story and career arc will know that in the heart of this Showgirl lies a giant Nerd. In the past decade my Nerd self has taken the wheel and is now driving my career. I am currently finishing production on the first season of my history podcast Good Time Sallies which has grown into several long-term research & writing projects."
The musician continued:
"With contracts signed and schedules agreed on these commitments, the timing of a Scissor reunion does not allow me to join my former bandmates on this tour.I wish the band and our fans all the best - I will be there in spirit to kiki with you!"
A brief overview of Scissor Sisters' career
Scissor Sisters started their career with their self-titled debut album, Scissor Sisters, released on February 2, 2004. The album charted on the 102nd spot on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album charted at the top spot on the UK album chart. The album gained multi-platinum certification in Australia and Ireland.
The band released their second studio album, Ta-Dah, on September 15, 2006. The album charted at number 19 on the Billboard 200 album chart and at the top spot on the UK and Irish album charts.
After the band's second album, their popularity dropped. The band released a third studio album, Night Work, on June 28, 2010. This was followed by their fourth studio album, Magic Hour, on May 25, 2012.
