Post Malone's latest hit, I Had Some Help, reached another milestone on September 3 after securing the top spot on Billboard's Song of the Summer chart. The track, featuring Morgan Wallen, is the lead single from the rapper's F-1 Trillion album and was released on May 10.

With I Had Some Help topping the chart, Malone officially added Billboard's 2024 Song of the Summer title to his name. The title reflects the cumulative popularity, sales, and streaming performance of a Billboard Hot 100 song between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

This infectious and catchy release from Post Malone is the third country song to receive the Song of the Summer title. Morgan Wallen, who earned the title in 2023 for Last Night, is the first country musician to reach the milestone in the past five decades. The first Song of the Summer title for a country song went to country music legend John Denver in 1974 for Annie's Song.

Shabooze's A Bar Song and Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us were the other contenders in the top three list of Billboard's 2024 Song of the Summer chart. While Shabooze's April 2024 release ranked at No. 2, Lamar's May release peaked at No. 3 on the chart. Following them were Sabrina Carpenter's recent releases, Espresso and Please Please Please, at No. 4 and 5, respectively.

Post Malone appears on Theo Von's podcast at the head of I Had Some Help's chart-topping performance

Post Malone has been busy celebrating numerous milestones following F-1 Trillion's release, including his Grand Ole Opry debut and Billboard's 2024 Song of the Summer title. The rapper, who has been preparing for his F-1 Trillion tour, also appeared on Theo Von's This Past Weekend podcast on September 3.

Running for over two hours, the podcast featured Malone discussing his F-1 Trillion tour, which begins on September 8 in Salt Lake City. The rapper confirmed that he replaced most of his band to provide a true country feel for the upcoming tour, which supports the F-1 Trillion album.

When asked about plans to extend the F-1 Trillion tour internationally, the rapper teased that it might happen after the current tour, affirming:

“Probably afterwards. Yes, sir,” Post Malone told Theo

Post Malone didn’t go into further detail regarding his international tour plans. However, with the North American leg ending on October 27, fans can expect the international tour to be slated for late 2024 or early 2025.

Malone also mentioned that touring is fun and that he loves performing for people, but he misses his daughter, DDP, when he's away. He told Theo Von on This Past Weekend:

“Tour is a lot of fun. You know, I got my two-year-old now and it's hard being away from home for months, but I love playing music and seeing people sing these songs. It's so cool man, you never know if that's like their one thing of the year”.

Post Malone further discussed the F-1 Trillion tour, revealing that he was still finalizing the opening artists for the upcoming concerts.

Although he didn’t mention any names, he hinted that he might select smaller artists from the states where he’ll be performing. The rapper added that other acts and support might join him for limited portions of the tour.

Post Malone's F-1 Trillion tour covers over two dozen concerts in major North American cities such as Boston, Scranton, Atlanta, Rogers, Houston, and more. The tour will conclude on October 27 with a show at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Austin, Texas. Tickets for all tour dates are available on Ticketmaster.
