A favourite fictional character for chidren, Paddignton Bear, is set to return to the big screen in Paddington 3, holding the hands of Dougal Wilson. Paul King, who directed the first two movies of the saga, will be the executive prodcuer and has also taken part in the writing of the third installment.

So far, there have been two trailers of the upcoming movie where we witnessed Paddington's adventures as he embarks on a new journey in Peru. The first film was released in 2014 by StudioCanal, followed by a sequel Paddington 2, three years later.

Paddignton's voice will be given by Ben Whishaw, while Hugh Bonneville will resume his role as Henry Brown. Moreover, the first appearance of Paddington as a baby in the second trailer of Paddington 3 has raised a lot of exictement among the fans.

With only two months left for the release of Paddington in Peru, the emergence of the latest trailer has become the topic of discussion among the audience. The filming of the movie had started in 2023 and wrapped up in the same year. Despite there being hindrances to the production (following the departure of Rachel Zegler), the shooting was completed on time.

Paddington 3 is set to have its theatrical release in the United Kingdom on November 8, 2024, while the date for airing in the United States is January 17, 2025. The second trailer portrayed the stars' first look as Ben Whishaw (Paddington Brown) led the journey to Peru.

What is the plot of Paddington 3?

As the first trailer landed, viewers got to see Paddington along with his family, embarking on an adventure in the jungles of Peru to find his aunt Lucy, whose whereabouts are unknown at the moment.

Even though there have been speculations among the fans on whether there will be a villainous character (supposedly The Reverend Mother played by Olivia Colman), there is no confirmed plot development on the same.

Wilson has reportedly shed some light on the storyline of the saga saying,

"The first film gives us a bit of information about where Paddington came from and how he found his home in London, And then the second story, he almost loses that home, but in doing so consolidates his community in London and his friends,

Right after this, he has justified by adding that it would be a really appropriate move for Paddington and his community from London to head towards Peru for the third part, reports.

As the family treks through the dense forests of Amazon, they face new challenges at every step until they accomplish their mission.
