Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans created the score of Opus. The soundtrack of their compositions for the film has not been released yet.

Opus has three original songs made for the film, namely 35 mm, Tomorrow, and Dina, Simone. These songs have been created by the iconic musicians The-Dream and Nile Rodgers.

The-Dream is a Grammy Award winning artist, who is well known for his work in writing songs including Beyoncé's Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), Kanye West's All of the Lights, Megan Thee Stallion's Savage, to name a few.

Nile Rodgers is also a Grammy Award winning musician, is recognised for his work in albums and singles including Chic- Everybody Dance, Sister Sledge- Lost in Music, Daft Punk- Get Lucky (ft Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers), Chic- Soup for One, and many more.

Actor John Malkovich, who is essaying the role of Alfred Moretti, sings these songs in his own voice. That brings more authenticity and depth to his impeccable portrayal of the vicious and diabolical pop sensation.

Here is the complete list of songs in Opus:

  • DLZ, TV on the Radio
  • 35mm, by The-Dream and Nile Rodgers
  • Tomorrow, by The-Dream and Nile Rodgers
  • Dina, Simone, by The-Dream and Nile Rodgers
  • Maggot Brain, Funkadelic

The song Dina, Simone, is showcased as the most iconic song of Moretti in the film. The song Tomorrow serves as the early prototype of the upcoming album of Moretti, which Ariel is seen playing in the film.

The 35 mm song, sewn with erotic text, plays during an unsettling scene in the film. The song elevates the scene's tension quite well, as Moretti performs on it.

DLZ by TV on the Radio is played at the final credits of Opus. The song conveys Ariel's emotional state and overwhelming feelings about the whole incident. Lastly, Maggot Brain by Funkadelic, plays in the film's beginning. The song prepares us for the magnificence of Moretti's persona.
