When will No Other Land be out in theaters? Release details explored
No Other Land had its world premiere at the 2024 Berlinale and then proceeded to win multiple awards at film festivals across the globe, including the Audience Award at the Visions du Réel festival held in Paris.
Based on the reports, the film has secured distribution in about 24 countries where it will be released. However, unlike these countries, which include France and the United Kingdom, it had a difficult time securing a wide theatrical release in the United States.
While speaking about the distribution obstacles with Variety, the film's co-creator Yuval Abraham pointed out the potential political reasons despite a high demand for it. During the interview, what he said:
"The film is very, very critical of Israeli policies. As an Israeli I think that’s a really good thing, because we need to be critical of these policies so they can change. But I think the conversation in the United States appears to be far less nuanced — there is much less space for this kind of criticism, even when it comes in the form of a film."
No Other Land will reportedly be released on January 31, 2025, in the US theaters by Cinetic Media and the bookings will be handled by Michael Tuckman Media.
Previously, it was shown in the US during the New York Film Festival. Later, it won a Gotham Award and was nominated for a Film Independent Spirit Award. Recently, the National Society of Film Critics named it 2024's best non-fiction film and the National Board of Review Awards rewarded it with a NBR Freedom of Expression Award.
No Other Land: Plot and cast details revealed

"An elegantly assembled diary of the Palestinian experience, No Other Land is a harrowing document that leaves traces of hope for a better future."
After receiving glowing reviews across the board, No Other Land has ended up on the Academy Awards shortlist for the best documentary feature of the year. While speaking about potential nominations at the Oscars and what it would mean for them, Basel Adra said:
"I hope the movie gets nominated because it would bring more awareness. I really advise everybody in the U.S. who has heard about No Other Land to watch it. It’s important for people to watch it so they can understand what’s going on."
He continued,
"And we hope people who do, don’t just watch it to feel sad or sorry for us but to join our struggle and our movement and take action. Especially in the U.S. which, as a country, is a main player in what’s going on. Americans have a responsibility, I believe, and I hope that they watch it and move in the right direction and take any action they can in order to help us change."
