During an appearance on The Him & Her podcast, Bill Maher, 68, addressed his stance on his dating life, and why he doesn't typically pursue women around his age.

His response comes after he was spotted getting dinner with Noor Alfallah, 30 , this month. Although Alfallah cleared her stance earlier, and said,

"Bill is my friend, just my friend. Bill's great though"

Bill Maher in the podcast, while talking about his love life said that he's single and "not looking."

"I'm not looking. I'm good. Nothing that I could have predicted when I was your age came to pass. Like I would never have imagined that at this age, anyone - and again, like I'll say this just generally - my dating is not age appropriate."

When host Michael Bosstick asked Bill if his love interests were "perceived in an unorthodox context, younger than what you should be dating", Maher replied saying, "Not just perceived, they literally are."

Maher acknowledged the backlash he recieves for dating younger women, and had a message for them,

"The people who are pissed off at that, f*** you. You do you, I do me. You do what works for you."

"It would ruin everything" says Bill Maher while discussing marriage

While discussing his love life on the Him & Her podcast, Bill Maher explained why he doesn't want to get married.

"I don't believe in it. It's not Hinduism, there's no belief in it. It would ruin everything. I mean, I'm not going to. I love to talk about this subject, but it's tough because I also don't really ever want to divulge the details of my own personal life."

The political commentator also encouraged listeners to make their own decisions when it came to marriage instead of giving in to societal expectations of getting married, and building a family.

Maher said that finding the one was "in my head for way too long" and described finding a person to marry to that of an Easter egg hunt.

Bill has been blatant in his views on marriage and dating and has often joked about the topic on his show, The Real Time with Bill Maher. In an old stand-up routine on his show, Bill revealed that he wants to live a certain lifestyle, and commitment and obligations and losing on "great s*x" wasn't a part of it.

During his appearance on The Howard Stern Show in 2019, Bill noted that he doesn't understand monogamy even though he has been in love and "tried to have relationships."
