James Gunn's The Brave and the Bold has no significant updates on its Batman. Rumor had it that Robert Pattinson could reprise his role of the caped crusader from his 2022 film, but Andy Muschietti, the film's director, poured cold water on it.
There have been rumors of another candidate donning the cowl in the form of Alan Ritchson. Here's what Alan said during his WIRED Autocomplete Interview:
"Yeah, would I play Batman? Yes. Would I pay handsomely to be Batman? You wouldn't even have to pay me to be Batman. I would, yeah, I would don the suit."
Alan has played a couple of DC characters; Aquaman in Smallville and Hawk in Titans. Some fan art popped up earlier this year, presenting the actor as the DC superhero.
What role does Batman have in The Brave and the Bold?

The caped crusader already exists in the new DC Universe created by James Gunn, who gave us a glimpse of the superhero in Creature Commandos. He appeared in episode six of the animated series, and that was all.
Now his next appearance should likely be in The Brave and the Bold live action film, where he is pivotal, as Gunn has explained, "it’s a strange father-son story." So we will get to see him and Damian Wayne, Bruce's son, in the upcoming movie, though there are no updates on its release. In fact, it was postponed as Andy explained in the California Secreta podcast.
Damian Wayne was created by Grant Morrison. The comic book writer has worked on a range of comics featuring the father-son duo, so we have a multitude of stories in here.
Though it mainly focuses on the duo, it will feature the Bat Family in it too. Peter Safran, the co-CEO of DC Studios, has already said that other members of the family will get the screen time in the film.
What we can expect is that the Damian Wayne we will see is likely to be Wayne's son with Talia al Ghul, who has lived a low-key life before meeting Bruce.
