Allegations against Sean Diddy Combs have been taking everyone by surprise every day. Of the 120 recent accusers, one was a 9-year-old boy who claimed he was allegedly s*xually assaulted by the rapper in return for a record deal. Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee held a press conference on October 1, 2024, where he mentioned that the rapper abused multiple minors.
The 9-year-old boy was s*xually assaulted after his audition at Bad Boy Records Studio in New York City. Soon after this news went viral, rapper and songwriter Bobby Lytes defended Diddy, expressing his disbelief that the rapper, at the peak of his career, would engage in such behavior with a 9-year-old boy.
However, Lytes acknowledged that while Diddy was imperfect and had made mistakes, the accusation was implausible. His comments have made him the subject of online scrutiny, with many netizens backlashing him for defending the hip-hop mogul. One Instagram user wrote:
“How he know? He was in the house? Y'all gotta stop idolizing these celebrities as if they can't do foul sh*t like what you see on the news all because they rich so the logic is "why would they do that" because they still humans, they aren't immortal gods.”
Other social media users dismissed the idea of paying heed to Bobby Lytes’s opinions, while others demanded proof for his defense.
“And why are we considering Bobby’s thoughts again?”
“Pay very close attention to ppl that are defending deviants.”
“I mean Ted Bundt’s youngest victim was 12. Bobby needs to be quiet sometimes I mean like how does he know was he there? Can he confirm for a fact it didn’t happen?”
Twenty-five of the alleged victims who filed complaints against Diddy were minors
Tony Buzbee announced that his law firm, in collaboration with the AVA Law Group, has been hired by over 120 individuals to pursue civil claims against Diddy, including 25 alleged victims who are minors. Reportedly, he intends to file the lawsuits in different states within 30 days. He said:
“We have an individual who was 14 years old. We have one who was 15. Twenty-five of the 120 individuals who are plaintiffs in these cases were minors at the time of the acts complained of.”
Buzbee noted that the alleged victims were evenly split between males and females. He stated that over 55% of them reported their experiences to either authorities or hospitals. The alleged abuse reportedly took place at Diddy's parties and sometimes during auditions.
These incidents are said to have occurred in various locations, such as Los Angeles, Miami, Manhattan, and the Hamptons, from 1991 to 2024. He also mentioned that many of the alleged victims were tested for drugs following the incidents, and Xylazine, a horse tranquilizer, was detected in their systems.
However, Diddy’s attorney, Erica Wolff, stated in a message to People Magazine that the rapper cannot respond to every unfounded accusation as he firmly and unequivocally denied claims of s*xual abuse, including those involving minors, describing them as false and defamatory.
