Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy shared a heartfelt tribute to the late singer on October 23, 2024, through an Instagram post. In the post, Kate wished Liam could see the impact he had on the world as he brought immense joy and positivity to millions of fans, as well as to his family, friends, and especially to her. She wrote,

“Liam, you had the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit. It feels like I've lost the best part of myself. I can't imagine a day without your laughter and love. You brought so much light into my life. A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together.”

She continued,

“I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said, "Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444." Liam, I know we'll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You'll always be with me. I've gained a guardian angel.”

However, soon after she shared the post, an X user with no specific name but with the ID ‘oceansjonas’ reposted Kate Cassidy’s tribute message by alleging that Liam Payne cheated on Cassidy with prostitutes. At the time of writing the story, the post had received 21.5 million views. The post read:

“imagine finding out your boyfriend cheated on you with two prostitutes before he died….she’s better than me cause i would’ve told him to rot in hell.”

The post received backlash from netizens who referred to the ongoing police investigation in Argentina saying that the allegations were false. Other social media users alleged that the two girls sold him drugs.

Liam Payne reportedly engaged in alcohol consumption with two girls

As per an October 18, 2024 report by Page Six, Liam Payne allegedly spent time partying with prostitutes just hours before his tragic fall from his hotel balcony.

According to sources from local outlet La Nación, two 25-year-old women, whose names have not been revealed, admitted to prosecutor Marcelo Roma, who is leading the investigation into Payne's death, that they consumed alcohol together.

However, during sworn testimony with Roma, the s*x workers reportedly denied using drugs with Liam Payne and stated that he appeared fine during their time with him. They also confirmed to authorities that they work as prostitutes.

The women reportedly informed investigators that they were summoned to the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, where Payne was staying, after being contacted through an escort service platform.

They arrived at the luxury hotel around 11:30 AM and did not leave until approximately 4 PM. According to sources, they departed from Liam Payne's room before 4 PM but left the hotel around that time because there was an issue concerning payment.

American tourist Michael Fleishmann reported that the singer was seen having a tense argument with a mystery woman, in the hotel lobby around 2 PM, according to the Buenos Aires Herald on Thursday. Liam Payne allegedly repeatedly stated that he would offer $20,000 simply because he could, mentioning his wealth of $55 million and his desire to help others.
