Gypsy Rose Blanchard while speaking to TMZ recently, adviced the Menendez Brothers to "work on yourself" should they be released from prison. Blanchard's life after prison advice was inspired by her own experience after she was granted parole in December, 2023, and released from prison in January, 2024.

"The one thing I wish I did was take the time away from the media when I first came out of prison and give myself time to adjust. I didn't do that and I got overwhelmed by it."

She advised,

"If they ever do get released, take a break, really kind of like work on yourself, get your feet on the ground. And then if that's something you want to do go right ahead."

Gypsy Rose Blanchard served a 10-year sentence after she pleaded guilty of conspiring to kill her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard in 2016 with her then boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn.

The Menendez Brothers, Lyle and Erik, were found guilty of murdering their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, and were sentenced to life in prison in 1996. The brothers used shotguns to kill their parents in August 1989 in the Beverly Hills mansion and accused their parents of years of s**ual and physical abuse.

"Reacclimating is a difficult thing" - says Gypsy Rose Blanchard to the Menendez Brothers

This isn't the first time Gypsy Rose Blanchard had a piece of advice for the Menendez Brothers. In October, Gypsy Rose Blanchard while speaking to TMZ at LAX said,

"It's very difficult to come out to a world that has changed so much even in the time that I spent. Reacclimating is a difficult thing. I would say take your time, you know, adjust properly and get therapy because you need it in this kind of world (and) day and age."

Erik and Lyle Menendez were scheduled to attend a resentencing hearing on March 20 and 21 at Van Nuys Courthouse, which has now been postponed. Their last court appearance was in 1996, for the second trial of their parents' murder.

The brothers are pursuing multiple getaways to parole; Clemency from Newson, a resentencing hearing, and a new trial. In October, 2024, then LA County District Attorney, George Gascon, recommended resentencing. However, since losing the election campaign, the decision is now in the hands of the new DA Nathan Hochman.

The attorneys noted that new evidence about the alleged s**ual abuse by their father, should give them a lesser sentence, such as manslaughter.

If granted resentencing, the brothers have a chance of reduced life sentences, with eligibility of parole.
