Rapper Torence Ivy Hatch Jr., better known by his stage name Boosie Badazz, is currently being searched by Travis County police following the issuance of an arrest warrant against him.

It was issued after the rapper allegedly failed to pay for chauffeur services, charges for which were filed on August 29, 2024. He is expected to be present in court on October 28, 2024.

According to the affidavit, the limousine and chauffeur service company claimed they provided services to the rapper from June 5 to 7, 2024 under the agreement that payment would be made in cash.

The company reported that they did not receive an itinerary but drove Boosie Badazz and his entourage for three days to multiple locations including Walmart, Urgent Care, Burger King, a trampoline park, a business, and the federal courthouse.

The company alleged that the chauffeur repeatedly inquired about payment from Boosie and his manager.

An invoice for $8,800 was later sent to the rapper, but according to the driver, it was never paid. He is now facing charges for theft of service valued between $2,500 and $30,000.

The affidavit also mentioned that the rapper was so satisfied with the chauffeur's services that he posted a promotional video on social media for the business. The driver mentioned to Boosie Badazz that he would offer a fair price, as previously discussed with his manager.

However, the limo service driver informed police that there had been no prior agreement that the promotional video would fully cover the payment for their services.

As per a Kaxn report from September 21, 2024, the chauffeur company provided police with screenshots of message exchanges that requested their services and indicated that payment would be made in cash.

The company also explained to police that cash payments by the hour, such as those Boosie was using, are common among celebrity clients.

Boosie Badazz previously asked the next US President for a pardon

In July 2024, the rapper reportedly accused a prosecutor of racism after being re-indicted in a San Diego gun case. He took to his X on September 1, 2024, and sought pardon from the next President.

The charges against him had been dismissed, but less than two weeks later, he was faced with the same charge of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon in interstate commerce.

He wrote:

“My case got dismissed for a ruling that was made n the 9th circuit court .2 weeks later the ruling gets vacated.smh soon as i celebrate the law is vacated gtfoh i got some powerful people who hate me with every bone n they body."

The post continued:

"i was sent to prison for 10 years for 3rd mari*uana. for being a user lol no rehab ,no probation sent straight to prison .at this point i need a parden from whoever wins @VP @realDonaldTrump.”

The indictment revealed that prosecutors are reinforcing the allegations against Boosie Badazz and are seeking to confiscate "all firearms and ammunition involved in the commission of the offenses." If convicted, he could face a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
