Tracy Morgan sparked concern among the crowd during the recent Miami Heat-New York Knicks game when he vomited on the court. The incident caused a brief delay, while the 30 Rock star was helped off MSG courtside in a wheelchair.

Many displayed their worries on social media, including the Severance director Ben Stiller. The 59-year-old wrote on X:

“Sending good thoughts to Tracy Morgan”

Stiller and Morgan went viral last year after attending the 76ers-Knicks playoffs game at Madison Square Garden. Both sat close to each other at the courtside when Tyrese Maxey hit a match-saving shot for the 76ers. The crucial shot brought the game to overtime and got meme-worthy reactions from the Knicks game, alongside Tracy Morgan and Ben Stiller.

In a blink-and-miss moment captured during the live broadcast, Morgan flipped the bird at the 76ers point guard, while Stiller was also visibly angered. The Daily Show, host Jon Stewart, stood in disbelief beside the Tropic Thunder star. Many Knicks fans were disappointed after Tyrese Maxey hit the exceptional shot, but Stiller took to X to appreciate the NBA pro. He wrote:

“Respect to Maxey. We should have had it. Will finish it in Philly.”

The New York Knicks ultimately won the series by 4-2 and advanced to the conference semifinals against the Indiana Pacers.

Many reacted to the 56-year-old’s unexpected health scare at MSG on March 17. A user (@realJoshBrownie) captured Morgan getting “wheeled out from courtside,” while many shared their concerns under their X post:

“I really hope he's ok,” a user wrote.
“Man, poor guy. He has the worst luck. I hope he’s okay,” another user added.
“Y'all joking a little too much under this, Tracy been battling health issues for a minute and the community can’t take this rn,” someone called out to those who were making light of the situation.
“Tracy Morgan is a legend. Wishing him a speedy recovery 🏆,” another one posted.

Hours after he was helped off the courtside, the actor-comedian shared an update through his Instagram handle, @tracymorgan. He posted a selfie from the hospital bed and revealed that he vomited due to “food poisoning.”

Morgan, who is doing alright now, also displayed his gratitude towards the team at MSG:

“Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!”

He further poked fun at the incident and added|

“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs 😅 #goknicks”

The Knicks won against the Heat by 116-95 and will face the San Antonio Spurs at the Frost Bank Center in Texas.
