Former Disney star Skai Jackson will reportedly not face any charges after her arrest on August 8, 2024, at Universal Studios, California. According to a People Exclusive from September 6, 2024, the Los Angeles County DA has declined to press charges against her. A representative speaking to the media outlet said the investigation revealed nothing but a misunderstanding.
The representative mentioned that the actress is relieved at the news and looks forward to putting the incident behind her. Skai Jackson was arrested on account of alleged domestic battery against her boyfriend. Reportedly, she was on a date at Universal City Park, during which they were involved in an altercation. This resulted in the actress allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, whose identity remains unknown, although no weapons were involved.
She was detained by security personnel after she allegedly pushed her boyfriend. After security intervention, she was taken to West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, where a bail of $20,000 was reportedly set for her release. The two denied the allegations of physical altercation, although the security footage reportedly claimed that Jackson pushed her boyfriend twice.
A TMZ report from August 17, 2024, stated that there was not enough evidence to bring the case to trial. Moreover, Skai Jackson did not have any record of criminal history. The victim did not have signs of injury, and he allegedly did not cooperate with the prosecutors. The report claimed that the couple was expecting a baby, although the news has not been officially confirmed.
Skai Jackson attended her first Fashion Week when she was four years old
An interview with Jennifer Hudson on March 25, 2023, revealed that the Disney actress did her first Fashion Week when she was four. Jackson said she was the smallest one in the backstage. Given her age then, she said she had a lot of confidence.
