More about Polo G's other cases
Although Polo G may be in the clear regarding his New York case, his other cases are still pending. The rapper was also arrested in August 2023, after cops raided his California home and found "numerous firearms." The raid identified the rapper's brother Taurean Bartlett or Trench Baby as a suspect in a California robbery.
As per LAPD, when the alleged victim came to Taurean's house to work on a music video, the rapper pulled out a handgun and demanded to have the money transferred to an unknown account by the victim.
Taurean was taken into police custody and released after posting $100,000 bail. In his recent April 2024 case, his lawyer Stacey Richman argued that Polo G was focused on his rap career and pleaded for no bail.
"This man is 100% serious in terms of his work, in terms of his professionalism. He has absolutely no incentive to flee because he has a career he's built."
The rapper is known for his hit singles like Finer Things and Pop Out fearing rapper Lil TJay which shot him to fame. He released his fourth and most recent album, Hood Poet, on August, 9 through Columbia Records.
