Mike Tyson is shutting down Jake Paul's claims that he suffers from Parkinson's disease after rumors of the same emerged following their fight last November.

As reported by GiveMeSport, rumors that the former boxing world champion was suffering from Parkinson's began swirling after news of his health scare before his fight with Jake Paul broke out.

As per the outlet, the latter started the rumors himself when he sat down for a live stream with Adin Ross. At the time, the two were discussing the use of psychedelic drugs as a form of treatment, including toad venom:

"Toad cured Tyson's Parkinson's so that he could come back and fight," the media personality shared.

However, as reported by Mens Journal, the boxer revealed that he always takes shrooms while training, mainly because it makes him feel good:

"I have to take them when I train. I always train with my mushrooms,” Tyson said back in August 2024. "I train on mushrooms because I feel beautiful. It takes me to heaven, baby," he added.

What did Mike Tyson have to say about smoking toad venom?

Mike Tyson has been vocal about his psychedelic use in the past, such as when in 2021, he reflected on how he felt when he smoked toad venom of the Sonoran Desert toad:

"In my trips I've seen that death is beautiful," he told The New York Post. "Life and death both have to be beautiful, but death has a bad rep. The toad has taught me that I'm not going to be here forever. There's an expiration date."

Nonetheless, Paul has since gone back on his claims, as he took to X to assert that he misspoke:

"Bruh…Mike Tyson didn’t have no Parkinsons..WTF. Why the f*ck is the internet so stupid for. I misspoke. Meant he used toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do," he penned on X on February 17.

While Tyson does not have Parkinson's, he does suffer from a nerve-impacting condition known as sciatica, which leaves the individual with extreme pain in the lower back and legs, sometimes leaving them immobile.

Reflecting on his condition in September 2022, during an interview with Newsmax TV, he said:

“I have sciatica every now and then, it flares up. When it flares up, I can’t even talk! Thank God it’s the only health problem I have."
