On December 4, Joe Budden was charged with lewdness after it was alleged that a neighbor and his minor daughters who were also present with him, spotted Budden completely naked on a doorbell camera in the hallway of their apartment in New Jersey.
His co-host, QueenzFlip, defended him in his statement to TMZ, where he said,
“Joe is well. I checked his stories. He's being rich somewhere, you know what I'm saying? He's somewhere out in the country, I don't know.”
He said he has "nothing but positive" things to say about Budden and credited him for giving him “some of the greatest things in life”. QueenzFlip also mentioned on the TMZ video "Let him enjoy his New Year, man. To be honest, I have no idea what's going on."
He referred to Budden as 'the podfather' and assured that the podcast would continue. QueenzFlip attested for Budden by attributing this incident to his sleepwalking and that in the music industry, people usually try to put smut on each other's name.

On December 30, the Edgewater Police Department revealed in a press release that it was Joe Budden's neighbor who spotted him completely naked through his doorbell camera. It was also reported that he tried entering the code multiple times to enter the room before he headed back home. At 7 in the morning, the officials arrived on the scene as soon as they were called.
In a recent podcast, which was not shot at his apartment, the 44-year-old rapper spoke about the incident saying
"I just sleepwalked somewhere that I shouldn't have sleepwalked. That's what happened".
