More about Charleston White's criminal history
Charleston White has a reputation for being taken into custody. His recent arrest doesn't come as a surprise after he was arrested in October 2024 and December 2023. In December 2023, White was reportedly accused of pepper spraying a cat in 2022 and threatening two men with a gun.
In October 2024, rumors made waves on the internet that he was shot in Chicago. However, he clarified them in an Instagram live session saying,
"Say listen. Say I ain't got shot. If anybody know me, they know I ain't going to Chicago. No ni**a shooting me in Chicago, they got to get me in Atlanta. And Woody ain't no gangster no more. Ah Ah, it's the man n***a. Say, they say they shot Charleston White...They say they shot Charleston White..."
He went on to clarify that nobody shot him. The rumors circulated after a Chicago Police Department Officer reportedly received a call from someone who claimed to be the actor.
In the same month, he was charged with allegedly killing, poisoning, and causing serious bodily injury to an animal without the owner's consent. As his legal issues surfaced on the internet, White made an appearance in a show hosted by Terrance "Gangsta" Williams on February 2025, and advised young people leading towards a troubled path,
"Try to figure out what he wants to do other than going to jail...Point it out to him. Then let him know once he goes to jail, then he can come back and be a better person."
Charleston White is also a vocal advocate for at-risk youth and has given speeches in schools, juvenile detention centers, and community events where he shared his stories as a cautionary tale.
Since White is being held without bond, his release date remains unknown. Authorities are also yet to confirm if his latest arrest is linked to his previous criminal incidents.
