"Why BBL is still a thing?" - Internet has mixed reactions as SZA hits back at comments about her body

On December 30, SZA took to her X account to clap back at comments about her body. Her reaction came after one of her fan pages posted a throwback video of the singer from 2020 during COVID-19 with the now-deleted caption, "i miss this era so much."

After one user commented on the post saying, "aka before she got and bbl culture like", SZA responded saying,

"Yall say weird s**t like this and wonder why I'm different and don't feel comfortable w yall anymore. Lol."

In another comment she said,

"Yall do realize I mean different as in I don't go on live+ talk and don't communicate w yall like that anymore lmao not different as in change my appearance tf."

After BuzzingPop reposted the interaction on X, fans took to the comment section expressing their opinion on the same. While some asked people to stop body shaming, others questioned if the singer had gotten a BBL.

"I'm so mad I did that s***" - SZA admits to getting a BBL

SZA in a recent interview with British Vogue in November admitted to getting a BBL and regretting it. While talking about her opinion about the procedure she said,

"I'm so mad I did that s***. I gained all this weight from being immobile while recovering and trying to preserve the fat. It was just so stupid. But who gives a f***? You got a BBL, you realize you didn't need the s**t. It doesn't matter."

Although the singer revealed that did she regret getting the popular butt lift treatment, she's not unhappy with the results of the procedure and said,

"But I love my butt. Don't get me wrong. My booty look nice. And I'm grateful that it looks pretty much...I don't know, sometimes natural, but I don't even care. It's something that I wanted. I'm enjoying it. I love shaking it."

BBL or Brazilian Butt Lift is a procedure where fat is removed from elsewhere in the body and injected into the butt cheeks to make them bigger.
