Tyrese Gibson's girlfriend Zelie Timothy is the founder of The Lash Mansion, a company that sells false lashes. The Dominican Republic native who was raised in Jacksonville, Florida is known to post content on beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. Gibson and Timothy have been dating since March 2021 after the Fast & Furious actor, sent her a direct message on Instagram.

The couple in an Instagram live session on January 1, 2024, revealed their future plans with Zelie mentioning that Tyrese "doesn't want to marry" her, to which Gibson responded by saying that he wanted to marry her after his divorce is finalized. In the session, Gibson can be heard saying,

"That's not true, Babe. I'm just waiting on my divorce to be finalized. So I can get into this new paperwork."

Tyrese Gibson while explaining his thought process to Zelie noted,

"You can't get into no new paperwork until the old paper is done."

Gibson split from his wife Samantha Gibson in December 2020 and the two are still involved in a lengthy battle regarding child support.

While speaking to PEOPLE in October 2022, the actor said,

The couple started dating amidst Tyrese Gibson's lengthy divorce battle with Samantha Lee after the latter filed for divorce in December 2020. The actor has been reportedly ordered to pay around $10,000 monthly for child support, and the untimely payments from Tyrese's end have caused Lee to take him to court multiple times.

Other than Samantha Lee, the actor was also married to Norma Mitchell, whom he parted ways with, in 2009.
