It is not exactly known when the pair started dating, but according to multiple reports, they have crossed paths in the same social circles. Both of their children from their previous marriage are avid golfers and are often seen competing in the same tournament.
Timeline of Tiger Woods's relationship with ex-partner Erica Herman
Tiger Woods began dating Erica Herman in 2017, with their relationship being confirmed when she was seen accompanying Woods to the President's Cup. It is not exactly known how the former couple met, but Erica Herman worked at The Woods Jupiter, a restaurant owned by the golfer. The former couple were often spotted at many tournaments together, with Erica being there by Wood's side to support him.
In February 2021, Woods suffered severe injuries in a "single-car collision." In an interview with Golf Digest, he recounted how Erica provided him with support during the difficult time.
"There was a point in time when, I wouldn't say it was 50/50, but it was damn near there, if I was going to walk out of that hospital with one leg. Once I [kept it], I wanted to test and see if I still had my hands. So even in the hospital, I would have [girlfriend] Erica [Herman] and [friend] Rob [McNamara] throw me something. Throw me anything."
Later, during the 2021 PNC Championship, Erica Herman was once again seen by Wood's side. After his performance at the 2022 Masters, Herman told Golf News how proud she was of him.
"It's miraculous. It shouldn't be happening. I mean, nothing ever surprises me about him. But he'd just worked so hard to be here, that was the one thing I knew: once he got here, he wasn't going to go home."
In August 2022, the couple was also seen attending the match between Serena Williams and Danka Kovinic at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
It is not known exactly when their relationship soured, but in October 2022, Erica Herman filed a tenancy lawsuit against Tiger Woods. The former restaurant manager claimed that she was locked out of the house she shared with Woods, stating she had a verbal tenancy agreement with him for six years. She claimed,
"By trickery, agents of the Defendant convinced the Plaintiff to pack a suitcase for a short vacation and, when she arrived at the airport, they told her she had been locked out of her residence, in violation of the oral tenancy agreement and in violation of Florida law."
The lawsuit also claimed that due to the sudden nature of the eviction, she was owed $30 million. Furthermore, in a separate lawsuit, she alleged that she was forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement when she began dating Woods and requested for the NDA to be nullified, in accordance with the Speak Out Act.
According to People Magazine, Erica Herman claimed she was s**ually assaulted by Woods while working at his restaurant. She later dropped the eviction lawsuit in June 2023 and the NDA lawsuit in November 2023.
