Rebecca King-Crews, the wife of actor and TV host, Terry Crews, has been married to him for more than 30 years now. Married since 1989, the couple recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in 2024.

Rebecca and Terry Crews became acquainted while attending Western Michigan University, in the 1980s, but their relationship did not develop initially. Rebecca told E! News in 2018 that she found Terry “a little too nice” and almost left him in the friend zone when they talked for the first time.

The couple share five children together, Naomi, whom Rebecca had from a prior relationship, and the children they have together: Azriél, Tera, Wynfrey, and Isaiah.

Rebecca King-Crews was born on December 24, 1965, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and grew up in Indiana. She was crowned Miss Gary during the Miss Indiana Pageant.

Rebecca has often recalled her roots, including the impact of her father, the late Samuel Dean King, a musician whose love for music is inherited by Rebecca. She has a degree in music and theatre from Western Michigan University and has had a varied career in music and fashion.

She released her first single, 'Can I Stay,' in 2014 while her self-titled album came out in 2021. Additionally, Rebecca also launched a clothing line that has been worn by the likes of Avril Lavigne, Christina Milian, and Terry Crews himself.

How Terry Crews and Rebecca King-Crews Conquered Marital Challenges

According to People magazine, Rebecca and Terry’s marriage hit a turning point in 2010 when Terry admitted to losing interest in s*x due to p*rn addiction that he had kept secret. Rebecca’s first thought was to break up, but she ultimately chose forgiveness when Terry entered counseling and showed his commitment to making changes.

In an interview with the People magazine, Rebecca said:

"When I talk about forgiveness, I'm not advocating for stupidity, but there is a freedom and a whole new life available to you when you operate in that grace."

While trying to mend their marriage, Terry wanted to be honest and transparent with their kids. Terry Crews opened up about his feelings of gratitude towards his wife on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast. He stated:

Along with her relationship struggles, in 2020 Rebecca was diagnosed with breast cancer, and underwent a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. She came through the challenges cancer-free.
