The special guest was none other than his mother, Georgeta Orlovschi, who looked stunning in a beautiful white gown, featuring intricate lace detailing and shimmering embellishments.

Sebastian Star's mother was visibly excited and happy about her son's big nomination last night. During an interview with E! News Orlovschi showed her support, by saying:

"He works very hard, so he deserves the best. I can't be more proud. He's adorable." she proudly beamed.

But on the other hand, she was apparently upset with him over a small fact. During the sweet and hilarious interaction, the Oscar nominee turned to Zuri Hall, who was hosting the segment, and said:

“She was very upset I didn’t shave tonight. So when I told her I can’t because I have to do this other role, but she was preferring I didn’t have the beard.”

The star also planted a sweet kiss on her cheek, while she gushed about him, showing her some love.

During the interview, Sebastian Stan quipped that it felt unreal to be nominated, and to be in the same room as the great actors he grew up watching.

"I’m just so happy to be here with her because you don’t ever really think this is going to happen. You watch it on TV and you grow up with Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino and Denzel [Washington] and all these people so the fact that we’re here is amazing." said the Marvel alum.

The actor, who shares a close bond with his mother has time and again credited her for his success.

"This is for my mom who left Romania in search of a better life, gave me everything, and for my stepfather, Tony, who took on a single mom and a grown up kid, thank you for being a real man,” said Sebastian Stan during his acceptance speech for his first Golden Globe win.

Their cute interaction was loved by fans, with many taking to X (formerly Twitter) to gush over the adorable mother-son duo.

Sebastian Stan's mother, Georgeta Orlovschi was born on 18 May 1956, in Romania. Nothing much is known about her first marriage to Sebastian Stan's father, except that they split when the actor was very young.

Following their split and rising political disruptions in the country, she moved to Austria, where she worked as a pianist before eventually deciding to move to the US to give her son a chance at a better life.

After relocating, she met Anthony Fruhauf, who would eventually become Sebastian Stan's stepfather. Fruhauf was the Headmaster at the high school Sebastian Stan attended. In 2021, the actor gave her mother a sweet shoutout, thanking her for all that she had done.
