Who is Raqi Thunda? 'Love & Hip Hop: New York' star's history of beef with Joe Budden explored after heated argument on X Spaces

Raqi Thunda and Joe Budden's beef shows no signs of slowing down.

The pair have long been involved in a public feud, and just this week, they engaged in a spat on X spaces, with Budden even body-shaming Raqi. "Nobody in this crew wanted you," Budden slammed Raqi, suggesting that she rebrand. For her part, she asserted that she "didn't want anyone" either, to which Budden claimed she was unappealing.

Raqi Thunda is a reality star known for her contributions to Love & Hip Hop: NY. She also previously had her own radio show on Sirius called Hip Hop Nation and served as a recurring judge on Freestyle Fridays. She is also known for having hosted New York Hot 97's Sunday Night Showcase.

The radio personality, TV star, and entrepreneur joined season 3 of Love & Hip Hop as Joe Budden's close friend, though they soon had a dramatic falling out not too long into the season. Scroll down to know all about their feud.

Joe Budden and Raqi Thunda's beef dates back to 2013, when in January, the latter sat down for an interview with The Breakfast Club to allege that Budden had once gotten physically violent with her.

At the time, she was asked if she had ever gotten intimate with Budden, which she denied, claiming he's "like a freakin hippie." She also claimed that he "kinda dragged me," noting that their altercation left her with a missing toenail. "He admittedly was high as a kite," she alleged at the time.

Later on in the segment, she also referred to Budden as "manipulative," noting that she had no idea what drugs he was on at the time, claiming it could even be Molly. Fast forward to September 22, when Budden's ex, Cyn Santana, accused him of "dragging" her in an audio. At the time, he was also confronting similar allegations from another ex of his, Tahiry Jose, though he refuted all such claims.

Joe Budden later blamed Raqi Thunda for allegedly leaking the audio, though she categorically maintained her innocence. She also uploaded screenshots of texts allegedly between her and Budden, claiming that he was the one who asked her to keep tabs on Cyn as his friend. She claimed he often asked her to do this when his relationships would fail.

"YOU asked me to manage Cyn after your breakup because you thought I would help you keep tabs on her movement like where she was and who she was keeping company with. When I made it clear that as a friend to both of you I wouldn't be involved with putting her in a dangerous position to feed you info that will put you in a position to lose what you were working for because you're a known loose cannon that's when you lost your sh*t," she penned at the time.

Raqi added,

"As a woman I chose to no longer play wingman to you toxic relationships and made the choice to sacrifice me time, money, and resources to help Cyn because lord knows it was desperately needed in multiple ways!"

In their profanity-laden latest feud on X Spaces, Joe Budden claimed no one would ever want Raqi Thunda, though she shot back by referring to him as a pervert. She then took shots at his partner, which prompted him to threaten that she never do that again.
