Rain Brown, star of the reality TV show Alaskan Bush People, was arrested last week with her husband, Josiah Lorton, for alleged burglary, as per booking records obtained by People.

Brown is known for her appearance alongside her family on Alaskan Bush People in 2014, when she was 11 years old. The reality TV show featured the family living in the wilderness in Hoonah, Alaska, for months without seeing other people. The show was canceled in 2022.

News of her arrest comes seven months after Brown was accused of abusing meth in a damning restraining order request filed by her brother, which was denied.

Brown and Lorton were booked on April 11 in Washington State, and Brown was charged with burglary in the first degree, malicious mischief in the first degree, and criminal trespassing in the second degree. Her husband, Josiah, was arrested and charged with burglary in the first degree and malicious mischief in the first degree.

The couple were released from Okanogan County Jail on April 14. The two were not required to post bail and are expected to attend a later scheduled court date, as per In Touch.

In a December 2023 Instagram post, Rain Brown announced news of dating Josiah Lorton, sharing that the two met at work, where she was a waitress and he was the head chef. In a January 2024 Instagram post, Brown opened up about their relationship, noting that:

"Josiah has showed me what real pure genuine love is, and continues to show me every day what a beautiful thing this life can be."

In January 2025, Brown took to Instagram to announce that they were married.

Rain Brown was accused of using meth

On August 5, 2024, Rain Brown's brother, Noah Brown, filed a Petition for Order of Protection against his sister and accused her of using meth and threatening to kill him, as per his restraining order request.

He also accused Rain of "stalking" and claimed that there was a "threat of violence, including malicious and intentional threat or presence of firearm/weapon causing substantial emotional distress." He also accused her of "using cocaine and meth and consuming alcohol."

Noah's request was denied by the court since it had "no basis." On February 5, Josiah took to Instagram to claim that he has been clean and sober for five years. He detailed that he spent most of his life on drugs and doesn't "want that for my life no more."
