Presley Cash is a veteran actor and director who is known to appear in Taylor Swift's I Can See You music video from her Speak Now album. She also played the role of one of the bullied girls in Swift's Mean music video.
Cash is also known for her roles in Coffee and Contemplation Live, Abide in Me, and Choose Connor. She has also been featured on TV commercials for brands including Payless Shoes, Bryman College, Helix Copters, and Foam Construction Toys.
In July 2023, Swift, while announcing the release of the I Can See You music video, mentioned Cash and Joey King,
"I've been counting down for months and finally the 'I Can See You' video is out. I wrote this video treatment over a year ago and really wanted to play out symbolically how it's felt for me to have the fans helping me reclaim my music. I had my heart set on @joeyking, @taylorlautner and @helloimpresleycash starring in it"
The pop star noted that Joey and Presley had been in the video when they were 9 and 13 and were "so ridiculously bad a**"
On April 8, Cash posted a TikTok where she called out American Idol judge Carrie Underwood and the show's producers for "grooming."
Presley Cash claimed that Underwood brushed off her talent and the show's team spent months "grooming" her. While she auditioned for the 2025 season, the show did not feature her performance on screen. In the video, Cash mentioned,
"Little did I know I was about to go in front of the American Idol judges after six months of grooming from producers saying how amazing of a singer/songwriter I was and loved my work with Taylor, just to have Carrie Underwood say I can't sing and I can't hang in Hollywood - after working in Hollywood for 20 years."
Presley Cash went on to claim that Underwood knew about her work with the popstar,
"She knew about my work with Taylor Swift and that I was a part of the BIGGEST TOUR in HERstory (the Eras Tour). It seems the tea is hotter than we thought, ghouls..."
"American Idol told me I can't sing" - says Presley Cash
Two weeks ago, Presley Cash took to TikTok after American Idol aired an episode and claimed that the show told her she "can't sing" despite her making it to Taylor Swift's music video at 13.
In the video, Cash wrote a caption about American Idol, before switching it to a close up of her wrist in a gold Tortured Poets Department bracelet, and a beaded Mean friendship bracelet.
The video read,
"American Idol told me I can't sing. But Taylor gave me this Tortured Poets Department Bracelet and after my little trip to Nashville...I am more tortured and poetic than EVER!!"
In the caption, Cash addressed the judges, saying,
"Lionel, Luke and especially Carrie I hope you enjoy the Skeleton gloves!!!!! (upturned smiley emojis)
Taylor Swift's fans have flooded Cash's comment section with praise and validation while bashing the American Idol.
