Phoenix Suns' Grayson Allen's wife, Morgan Reid, played professional soccer and basketball in high school. Reid, a marketing specialist, grew up in North Carolina, in a family that was supportive of her sports career. Her father was a wrestler, and her mother was a basketball player.

Greyson Allen and Morgan Reid have been married since July, 2022, after meeting while attending Duke University, where both played on the school's sports teams. While Grayson Allen was on the Duke Blue Devils basketball team, Reid played on the soccer team. After graduating in 2018, Reid was drafted by the North Carolina Courage before being traded to the Orlando Pride. Morgan retired from the National Women's Soccer League, due to an ongoing hip pain which started in the 2020 COVID season.

The player took to her blog, morganreidallen.com, where she wrote an article titled, "Why I Stepped Away from the NWSL" noting that,

"My hopes of playing competitive soccer, tennis with my family, or even just living an active lifestyle, had dwindled. I couldn't do any of these activities without severe pain."

She mentioned that she's "not sure" if she can continue playing professional soccer but hopes that she will be able to do "most of the things I love and that bring me joy, painfree."

As mentioned before, Greyson Allen and Morgan Reid attended Duke University, where the two struck a friendship, and began dating in their senior year of college. During a Phoenix Suns interview in February 2024, Reid revealed,

"We started dating in college, and that's simple because you're at the same place. And you take it for granted how close you are to your significant other."

In another interview with Whistle Sports in 2022, Reid said to Allen,

"We were best friends since freshman year, and I had this feeling that you might have liked me."

Reid added that their first kiss was in her apartment, during their senior year. The couple got engaged in February, 2022, and shared photos of the beachside proposal on Instagram. The two tied the knot, a few months later in July, 2022 at Nestldown, in Los Gatos, California.

The couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Emslie May, on October 26, 2024, as per the Arizona Republic. While announcing their pregnancy on social media in a shared post in July, 2024, they said,

"We can't wait to meet you in a few months garlie."
