Olivia Adamonis, one of Taylor Swift's doppelgängers, took the Swifties by storm when she showed up at the Kansas City Chiefs' game at the Acrisure Stadium on Christmas. In now-viral pictures, she can be seen sitting in the VIP area. Given the striking resemblance, it didn't take long for fans to deduce that it was the songstress cheering her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, on.

Not much about Adamonis is known, except that in the wake of the confusion, she took to TikTok to upload her first-ever video to clarify the situation. Adamonis, who wore red lipstick and had blonde hair, revealed that she was just enjoying the game with her friends when fans started waving and taking pictures of her.

Adamonis said in her video,

“I just waved back because I didn’t want to seem rude.”

All about the Olivia Adamonis-Taylor Swift mix-up

In the video, Adamonis narrates her account of the tale:

"Today, I was at the Steelers vs Kansas City game for Christmas, and I was sitting in a box seat with my best friend. We were having a really, really nice time. … I would see a lot of people take pictures of me or wave to me. I would wave back, like, I didn’t want to be mean or rude. I was like, ‘Maybe they think I’m Taylor Swift?’ I can see it from far away."

She also explained that just before she left, a staffer came up to her and explained the confusion.

"I'm sorry to the people that thought I was Taylor Swift, but yeah, everyone was like, ‘Is that Taylor Swift in the white sweater?’ It was me. There were a bunch of videos of me standing up or me sitting down or, like, talking to my friend. It was a whole thing."

She later uploaded a carousel of images of her and her best friend's day at the game, with Taylor Swift's hit song Christmas Tree Farm playing in the background. Users flooded the comments section to point out that she and Swift looked eerily alike, almost as if they were sisters.

Swift, however, did not make it to the game. The NFL regular's presence at these games has been spiking concerns for security, as a source told Page Six:

"If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead [Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri], there are security concerns."

They also agreed that while Arrowhead Stadium might be a familiar place for the pop star, commuting to other venues may prove tedious as it requires extensive planning and security measures.
