"Look at how pretty he is — are you kidding?" - Benny Blanco has a heartwarming reaction on being mistaken for Bad Bunny

During an April 7 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, Benny Blanco was asked about the Oscars mishap where he was mistaken for Bad Bunny. However, when Hudson brought up the incident, Benny seemed to take it in good light and asked,

"They did?"

Hudson infromed him that Blanco was confused for the Puerto Rican singer, after the Academy Awards mistakenly captioned a photo of Selena Gomez and her fiancee walking the red carpet, "Selena Gomez and Bad Bunny" on X last month. Although the official account edited to correct the mistake, that didn't stop netizens from taking screenshots and making it viral.

I like that. What do you mean? He's so hot! I'll take, I'll take it. What do you mean?"

He then went on to add,

"Look at how pretty he is - are you kidding? Yeah, I'm Bad Bunny now."

Benny Blanco has gone viral on the internet after clips of his appearance on a March 24 episode of Jay Shetty's podcast, went viral on the internet. The internet lauded the singer-songwriter for his healthy masculine attitute and applauded Selena for picking him.

While speaking to Hudson about attending the 2025 Oscars with Selena Gomez, Benny applauded women for the effort they take in getting ready,

"Every woman deserves a Purple Heart for going - you guys gotta get ready, it's so much, it's so long. That dress weighed 35 pounds! And when we were traveling there, she couldn't sit down - she had to stand up in the car, and a man is sewing her in."

Benny Blanco proposed to Selena Gomez in December 2024, after they began dating in 2023. While speaking to Rolling Stones in a March 17 article, the couple noted that they were more focused on releasing music than planning the wedding.

"I think every day she's planned a new wedding in her head. We're very much 'take it one day at a time' - type of people. We're still not over this moment. Literally, while you were talking, she was sitting there staring at her ring."
