The actor requested the court for a full custody arrangement. During the custody battle over the then two-year-old daughter, her mother was behind bars as she admitted guilt in federal court to "various crimes."
Zach Roerig was arrested in 2020
According to a People Magazine report, Roerig was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) in Montpelier in May 2020. A spokesperson representing the Montpelier Police Department in Ohio spoke with the outlet about the actor's arrest.
At about 2:30 AM, the officials charged him with Operating a Vehicle Impaired. He was pulled over and stopped by the cops because the license plate on the front of his pickup truck was missing.
According to a TMZ report, Zach Roerig's speech was mumbling as he was drinking. Also, his eyes were red, and officials could smell alcohol on him.
Later, the cops took the actor for some field sobriety tests. During the process, he responded, saying,
"This is very hard, I can't do this when I'm f**king..."
As they could not understand Zach's slurring words, they wanted to hear what he said again. Later, he allegedly told to the officer,'
"When I can't have a beer."
According to multiple reports, he allegedly urinated in his cell that night. The authorities released Zach from custody, subject to his appearing for his arraignment. According to Wikipedia, Zach was arraigned on June 4, 2020.
