Megan Olivi, an American news/events reporter, has come a long way in her career. While she has faced several challenges in her life, she has also come across some special moments. She found her husband, Joseph Benavidez.

The couple allegedly first met in 2009 during a UFC event. They dated for a few years and tied the knot in 2015.

For the unversed, Joseph Benavidez is a mixed martial artist and a former flyweight title challenger. Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, he began his MMA career in 2006. By 2011, he became part of the Ultimate Fighting Championship roster after its merger with World Extreme Cagefighting. Since the merger, Benavidez's career skyrocketed as he began competing in the 125-pound weight category.

Throughout his career, he has achieved a lot, including a professional record of 28 wins and eight losses. He has won 17 matches via knockouts, and the rest are due to submissions. His list of achievements also includes the record for most knockouts in the history of his division. Moreover, he and one of the greatest fighters ever, Demetrious Johnson, both have the same number of wins.

In 2021, Benavidez retired from the UFC. He now works as a real estate agent in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Besides working, he and Megan Olivi are also avid travelers and are often seen going on vacations. They are now waiting to embrace parenthood.

Megan Olivi is expecting a baby boy with Joseph Benavidez

Megan Olivi recently flaunted her baby bump on the stage of the UFC 314 event in Miami. Fans immediately spotted her bump and began discussing if Olivi was pregnant on social media. Before any rumors could chime in, Olivi herself announced her pregnancy with her husband via Instagram.

She revealed that she is currently in her third trimester and expecting a baby boy. Sharing a picture of her wearing a black dress from the event, she wrote,

"Tonight is our annual Miami pay-per-view and I go to work about to head into my third trimester with the healthy baby boy of our dreams. I am still anxious as can be, constantly feeling for kicks (literally even seconds before we go live), but incredibly grateful to be in this position. Things are a little harder—figuring out outfits (usually my fave) is tough, I get tired and sore, and yes, insecure. But our son has been with me for so many incredible events already!"

Megan Olivi further revealed that it was her last show "outside of Las Vegas until after he is born," as her doctors have advised her to do so for the sake of her and her son's health.

"You’ll still see me for some Vegas shows until he makes his debut!"

Olivi further took a moment to address how many women are struggling with their pregnancy and insisted that she understands their pain. She advised women to "keep the faith." The reporter further thanked those who sent her positive messages throughout her journey.
