Mark Geragos, the criminal defense lawyer who is known to defend well-known Hollywood stars, is going to be Sean Diddy Combs' legal advisor.

As per a report by Page Six, Combs' team has already filed paperwork to allow Mark to appear in court on behalf of Combs. Mark boasts a star-studded clientele including Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Hunter Biden, the Menendez Brothers, and Roger Clinton.

Geragos attended Haverford College and earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, as per his website. He's from Los Angeles and leads his law firm, Geragos & Geragos.

As per an interview with Chambers Associate, Geragos mentions that his big break was in 1998 and 1999 when he won back-to-back state and federal acquittals for Whitewater figure and former business partner of President Clinton, Susan McDougal. In the same interview, he mentioned that he's most proud of a 2001 case, where his firm began class action work on behalf of Armenian families, to pursue long-overlooked claims from the Armenian genocide.

Mark noted that his firm secured nearly $40 million in groundbreaking settlements for survivors and related organizations worldwide.

In an interview with Chambers Associate, Mark Geragos talked about his childhood and what made him pursue law as a career. Mark noted that until the age of 13, he would accompany his father to court, who was a "hard-charging homicide prosecutor" for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

In addition to legal work, Geragos also co-hosts the Reasonable Doubt podcast, where he offers insights into high-profile legal cases and provides expert analysis on media, the intersection of law, and society. Mark Geragos has also frequently appeared as a legal commentator on major networks such as The Today Show, The Megyn Kelly Show, Banfield, Good Morning America, Dateline NBC, and other shows, including Larry King Live, 60 Minutes, and 48 Hours.

Geragos was ranked among the "100 Most Influential Attorneys in California" by the California Law Business Magazine, for three consecutive appears. He won a $59 million jury verdict against Pfizer Corporation, and the case was ranked among the "Top Fifty Verdicts in the United States" and "Top Ten Verdicts in 2008 in California" by the National Law Journal.

Mark Geragos is not yet offically been confirmed as part of the Combs defense team, but is being considered to fill in the position of Anthony Ricco. Ricco filed a motion to withdraw from the case in Manhattan Federal Court on February 20, and did not offer a reason.
