Demi Lovato’s half-sister Madison De La Garza announced her pregnancy with partner Ryan Mitchell. On September 6, she took to Instagram and posted a series of pictures where she was seen holding her baby bump. One of the photos included her sisters Demi, and Dallas, and their mother Dianna De La Garza. The caption of her post read:
“oh ryan, how I love you. thank you for making all of my dreams come true. baby mitchell 10.24”
What it seems from the caption is that the child is due next in October. Demi Lovato commented on the post;
“I love you and this baby so much already!!”
Madison De La Garza is a 22-year-old actress and filmmaker. She is best known for her role as Juanita Solis in Desperate Housewives. Madison was born on December 28, 2001, to parents Eddie De La Garza and Dianna De La Garza. Her father was a Ford dealership manager while her mother was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
She is the maternal half-sister of Demi Lovato and Dallas Lovato. Besides Desperate Housewives, Madison De La Garza played the younger version of Sonny Munroe in an episode of Sonny with a Chance. Additionally, she also played the role of Kelsey in Bad Teacher. Her short film Subject 16 is available on YouTube where she also has a channel by her name.
Madison De La Garza said she was obsessed with Eva Longoria
On March 8, 2023, Access Hollywood released an interview video with the actress. In the interview, Madison said she started doing makeup when she was ten years old as she used to watch a lot of tutorials. While shooting for Desperate Housewives, she used to be fascinated by the make-up that the senior actresses would get. Madison De La Garza said;
“I was obsessed with Eva Longoria. I still want to be her. She was seriously like a second mom to me. I can’t explain the ways that she was there for me and for my family. My whole family, my sister too. We even spent Easter together one year. She invited me over to her place. We colored eggs, she cooked dinner. I met her whole family so we were super super tight.”
She also mentioned that her family was a strong supporter of therapy as they put mental health first. Madison had to struggle with substance abuse at one point in her life. However, after her recovery, she felt her world became free with many opportunities.
“What I really want to talk about the most is the effects that marijuana can have on someone and their personality and their life. A lot of people may think it’s not so serious but for me it was. It was a huge issue for quite a few years and ever since quitting ever since I stopped smoking, I feel lighter,” Madison De La Garza said.
Demi Lovato also struggled with substance abuse in the past. However, Madison felt her sister was a good example for her recovery, and that she would like to be the same example for someone else. Reportedly, she first announced her relationship with Ryan in June this year.
