In the wake of Corey Holcomb's claims that Hilarious was not as funny and talented as Loren LoRosa, Jess took to Instagram to claim that her co-hosts never take to her defense. While she didn't namedrop Charlamagne Tha God or DJ Envy, she did make her feelings about them clear.
“We supposed to be a team, but not one person comes to my defense at all. Ever. With this online sh*t. Angela Yee ain’t that motherf*cking crazy. Not as crazy as n*ggas try to make her out to be. There’s a reason that lady wanted to leave that show. I don’t know how she did that sh*t for 13 years. I don’t give a f**k, you already know what’s up with me. I feel played with, so I’m gonna play with n*ggas. I’ve been quiet a lot.”
As for her feelings about her temporary stand-in, LoRosa, she revealed that she was not informed that the latter would be involved. She revealed that she initially felt queasy about LoRosa joining the team, saying:
"'Nah it ain't even you I don't like,' I'm realizing," she stated on Instagram Live. "It's the way these n**gas is doing sh*t up here."
She revealed how she felt like a "villain" for expressing concern about re-joining the show after her maternity leave.
At the time of writing, Loren LoRosa has yet to respond to Jess Hilarious' statements.
